This is very uncommon when camping especially in Queensland however, that’s not to say it doesn’t still happen. We recommend keeping all valuables locked in your car while you are sleeping or away from the campsite. As for the equipment, you are responsible for all items provided by us during your stay and will be charged a replacement fee of any missing items. If theft has occurred please notify us as soon as possible and the police.
Unfortunately we do not provide any toilets at this stage however we recommend all our campers check out the details of their campsites to ensure there are amenities available. Otherwise grab a shovel and don’t forget the TP!
Our packages do not provide showers however they will soon be available in our add-ons. The showers are battery operated and pump water out of a 20L bucket through your hand held shower head. It is up to you how warm you make your bucket of water, just fill it most of the way with cold water then add boiling water from a kettle to adjust the warmth. Please ensure this is done by adults to avoid young children burning themselves. The shower will be set up in an ensuite dome featuring two rooms – one room for the shower and one room to get dressed.

This depends where you are camping. If you want the best chance of having mobile service, we suggest using Telstra as your service provider. If your camping area has no service, then it’s time to put down the electronic devices and enjoy the scenery.

There is also a generator available in our add-ons but you’ll need to check your campground’s restrictions regarding generators.
Generally no but it’s always a great idea to bring one because they are better suited to the roads out here. In saying that, there are plenty of camping areas that are perfectly fine for 2WDs and you may never have to think twice about it. Just make sure you double check with the campground you book through as to what kind of car they suggest. If in doubt email us at enquire@kickbakcamping.com.au
